Children in Natursm: is it legal?

Children can participate in naturism with their parents’ consent and supervision. Naturists believe that children can benefit from naturism by developing a positive body image, a natural curiosity, and a respect for diversity. However, some people may have concerns about the safety and well-being of children in natural settings. Therefore, naturist organizations and venues have policies and guidelines to protect children from any potential harm or abuse.

Isn’t a photo of a nude child, pornography?

Sadly, some would say it is. Nearly every parent has pictures of their children scampering around the house and backyard naked, or maybe taking a bath. There’s nothing wrong, shameful, or indecent about these family photos. Naturists think nude pictures are normal. Also, parents retain the freedom to post these pictures online (or give them to various publications).

Real child sex abuse is deplorable, and photos of children (nude or not) should never be shared or posted online without parental consent. Every photo on this blog is from a naturist publication or publically available family photo album.
